Western Hills was awarded the @GreatSchools #CollegeSuccessAward in 2024 β one of only 31 high schools in Kentucky to receive this honor! Read the KDE article here.
We are recognized by the College Board as an AP Honor Roll School, celebrating both participation and performance in rigorous AP coursework.
Ten students in the Class of 2025 earned the prestigious AP Capstone Diploma, showcasing their dedication to advanced research and college-level academic success.
Our students earned the highest On-Demand writing scores in the district.
Through our partnership with Bluegrass College Academy and BCTC, six students from the Class of 2025 graduated with an associate degree before even finishing high school.
71 graduates from the Class of 2025 completed Dual Credit coursework, and 63 students participated in Work-Based Learning or Co-Op Placements.
The Class of 2025 includes three students attending Ivy League universities, two National Merit Finalists, and 23 students receiving Presidential Scholarships from their future colleges.
In addition to academic excellence, we foster a vibrant student life with over 60 clubs, sports teams, and extracurricular activities that help our students explore their passions, build leadership skills, and make lifelong connections.
